Become an Apple Developer Program member
To become an Apple Developer Program member, you can enroll as an individual or enroll your organization. Learn about what you’ll need and the requirements to enroll.
Enrolling your organization
If you’re enrolling your organization, you’ll need an Apple Account with two-factor authentication turned on. We recommend that your Apple Account uses your email address from your organization. Make sure both your first and last names are your legal names. Using an alias, nickname, or company name as your first or last name will cause a delay in the approval of your enrollment.
During the the enrollment process, we’ll confirm the following:
Legal binding authority. As the person enrolling your organization in the Apple Developer Program, you’ll be the Account Holder and must have the legal authority to bind your organization to legal agreements. You must be the organization’s owner/founder, executive team member, senior project lead, or an employee with legal authority granted to you by a senior employee.
Legal entity name and status. Your organization must be a legal entity that can enter into contracts with Apple. We do not accept DBAs, fictitious business names, trade names, or branches. Your organization’s name will be displayed as the seller name of your apps on the App Store.
D-U-N-S Number. Your organization (excluding government entities) must have a D-U-N-S Number so that we can verify your organization’s identity, legal entity status, and address. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. You can check to see if your organization already has a D-U-N-S Number and request one if necessary.
Phone and Email. Your work email address needs to associated with your organization’s domain name.
Website. Your organization’s website must be publicly available and the domain name must be associated with your organization.
Terms and payment
Once your enrollment information has been verified, you’ll need to agree to the Apple Developer Program License Agreement and complete your membership purchase. The Apple Developer Program is 99 USD per membership year. Prices may vary by region and are listed in local currency during the enrollment process. If you’re a nonprofit organization, accredited educational institution, or government entity and meet certain requirements, you can request a fee waiver.

D-U-N-S Number (Data Universal Numbering System) is a unique, nine-digit identifier for businesses, issued by the credit bureau Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to track business credit, much like a Social Security Number tracks personal credit.
You get one by applying directly on the D&B website (dnb.com), often for free, by providing business details like your legal name, address, industry, and employee count, though it can take up to 30 days.
